Oral Surgeon John E. Tillner, DDS
A native of northern California, Dr. John Tillner completed his Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Physiology and Metabolism at the University of California at Berkeley. He then earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, California. Following his training in dentistry, Dr. Tillner completed a one-year internship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago School of Dentistry. He stayed at the University of Illinois to complete another three years of an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency before transferring to the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee to serve as Chief Resident at a level-one trauma center. Dr. Tillner has collaborated on many publications and he is a speaker at regional and national meetings.
Dr. Tillner’s extensive training and experience allow him to offer comprehensive oral and maxillofacial care to even the most challenging cases. His commitment to excellence is apparent in both his character and the results of his work. Dr. Tillner is an examiner for the American Heart Association and a member of the San Diego Dental Society, California Dental Association, American Dental Association, American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, California Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, California Dental Society of Anesthesia, and the American Dental Society of Anesthesia.
Dr. Tillner practices in the Chula Vista Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery center. This modern facility uses exclusively state-of-the-art equipment to provide the best care and treatments possible. The experienced staff at this center receives extensive training in order to provide patients with the best possible care. Dr Tillner also maintaines surgical and admitting privileges and takes emergency call at both Rady Children’s Hospital and Sharp Chula Vista.
Dr. Tillner and his family reside in San Diego. He is an avid outdoor enthusiast enjoying jogging, tennis, downhill skiing, wakeboarding, and traveling to Chicago to keep his lovely wife happy.< ?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /?>
